CPR Training

The GWGVFD offers CPR training following the American Heart Association guidelines.

We regularly offer the following Certification class:

• Healthcare Provider - a class designed for Emergency Medical Technicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals, although anyone may attend. You are required to purchase the American Heart Association "BLS for Healthcare Providers Student Manual" prior to class. This text can be found online at: http://aha.channing-bete.com/ or http://www.laerdal.com/ or searching for the manual is Google as "BLS for Healthcare Providers Student Manual. In addtion to the required manuals you must purchase, we also offer our own GWGVFD Study Guide Sheet for CPR.

Our classes are normally taught on the 3rd Saturday of various months in the basement at OLD Station 8, 13 East Diamond Avenue, in Old Towne, Gaithersburg.

Reservations are required via e-mail at GWGCPR@juno.com.

Cost:

• Healthcare Provider $50 per person
